Simple question from me - how do these get (re)charged?

People (known as Juicers) go round in the evenings, collect the scooters with low batteries, take them home to charge them and then redistribute them the following day ready for use.

Ah right, thanks - so the batteries are expected to last a day (or more) then?

Field Technician - Level 1

Operate, load, and unload a variety of vehicle types to collect and distribute e-bikes/scooters
Use JUMP’s operations software to locate and collect e-bikes/scooters requiring charging or maintenance
E-bikes: Perform in-field swaps of e-bike batteries that are low on charge

My experience of Lime Scooters in Paris, is that you can report those low on battery using the app and they get swapped out. We were getting 10-15k out of them and using them up and down ramps, racing etc. etc. before battery life started to dwindle to a noticeable level. The bike's i would imagine would have bigger batteries.
