Help! Dropped post conundrum, am I being thick?
Discussion
Short story, my mtb was stolen, police found it however when it was returned to me the dropper post trigger was broken and they’d also broken the Thomson dropper post itself.
I purchased a new trigger and have just got the post back from i-ride after having a full service.
I now have a problem attempting to refit.
I’ve attached some photos. It seems the dropper and the trigger require the same small stopper to operate that come on the end of a gear cable to operate.
How do I do that? Is there a small adjustable stopper I can buy as I’ve bought one but it’s way to big to fit in either the trigger or the post!
Hopefully photos will explain the problem.
