I have questions - Anyone Cycled the Rhine Route ? (Euro 15)

I am training for Zurich Triathlon and have the time to take this on. Probably start at Basel and head north. I can do the Andermatt section anytime (I live in Switzerland)

My main question is, I plan to do it in three days, roughly 250km per day - I am think long days like 12 hours and a moderate pace. But am I going to be mad to try. will I be clipping in and out all the time and what are the paths really like

I could hire a tourer for this and just use it to get miles in my legs
