Turbolito inner tubes - worth it?
Discussion
Has anyone experienced or seen Turbolito inner tubes? Turbolito makes great claims: an inner tube that's lighter and takes up less space in your jersey, yet claims the inner tube's tougher than a regular tube.
Is this marketing hype or could there be any truth to it?

2X STRONGER THAN STANDARD TUBES
Lighter AND more robust. We make the impossible possible.
We can solve this contradiction by using a new concept: We are manufacturing the Innertube with a thermoplastic elastomer, called TPU. This group of materials is known for its durability and excellent damping abilities. It has replaced many rubber products in the automotive and pharma industry already.

I wouldn't care too much about it being 2x tougher....if something gets through your tyre, it'll get through that tube, I'm pretty sure. The weight thing is pretty impressive though I must say. If I absolutely knew I wasn't going to puncture I'd probably get a couple, but they're fairly expensive.
Reading this RoadCC review, the Tubolito Tubo inner tubes look better than latex. Used as a spare, the Tubo would save loads of space in a jersey pocket too.
I rarely need to replace an inner tube (famous last words!). So I think the Tubolito price is OK, especially if it means less chance of a pinch flat.
