I’m off on an annual challenge ride and need help with pubs.
Discussion
Today, I’m off on a ride I lead for a local charity. This year it’s going from Huddersfield Town’s John Smith’s stadium to St. Mary’s stadium in Southampton ( about 280 miles) over 3 days. We’re stopping at Leicester and Reading. Does anyone know somewhere good to eat and drink in Huddersfield, or Leicester?
Drink wise in Huddersfield Magic Rock Tap room is very good, they also have pop up food stands that serve nice grub, though I wouldn’t rely on it if you need fuel for big miles the next day. There is also a good pub called The Grove, but again I don’t know what their food is like.
Both really friendly places, if you give them a call I’m sure they’ll be able to help you.

We ended up in a pub called the Yorkshire rose, right by the John Smith’s stadium. The food was nice, the beer was nice. It was a Fulllers or something, it worked anyway. Thanks for the suggestions though. Both really friendly places, if you give them a call I’m sure they’ll be able to help you.
