I'm a bit of a beast at 115 kilos and slugging around a rose granite chief which can't be much less than 35 to 40 lbs, I recently upgraded it to coil over oil as its just so much pusher. I do find the switch for the pedal bobble pretty useless on the cane creek rear shock pretty useless and therefore suck a lot of energy witjh pedal bob, I also had my rockshox pikes converted to oil spring too. The issue is apart from me being too light is the bikes too damn heavy for for the mostly xc me and my mates ride. They've all got evils, sant Cruz etc but they're all carbon so weigh a lot less than mine. I had read that the kona process 111 is a good enduro bike but no longer sold and tjink 4 inch of travel is more than enough for the stuff we go down. What are my options? Stick it out and get fitter ans stronger and master my bike. Get a lighter carbon bike and lose weight and enjoy that? Ride my road bike more often!? I do miss my cipollini but the cold and wet weather on a road bike sucks.
