The day we don't ever talk about - is there an equivalent for cyclists? I'm at knee/arm warmers rather than full length kit (and I'm in Aberdeen) so it must be close somewhere...
The temps are starting to get up, there are no gritters around, race season is starting to sneak up on us, everyone is keen to get out on the nice bike and see if all those winter turbo hours have paid off.
I guess this will be highly geographical, but could this month hold the equivalent day for bikes? I'm soon expecting a weekend ride with lots of race wheels, Christmas bling bits, fingerless gloves, shaved legs and exposed knees. Or is the sun peeping through a false start?
Oh lord, grant me a weekend of tan line foundation, screaming freehubs and the squeal of brake pad on carbon!
