I have 1. A Whyte 901 hard tail that I love. I occasionally eye up a +1 but it does the off road in the Purbecks brilliantly and is fine for more pedestrian rides with the kids. I can't see that a full suspension bike would add to my riding and I don't enjoy road cycling (possibly because I'm on a MTB, but drivers are idiots for the most part.) I'm wondering about a fat bike but again can't see I'd use it instead of my hardtail that much.

Genesis Volant - My first road bike bought new in 2014, consigned to turbo duty in the garage now.

GT Grade - Gravel bike bought s/h as I wanted a disc based winter bike.

Canyon Endurace SL9.0 Disc - Summer bike bought new in 2017, waiting for it to emerge from hibernation.

Whyte 529 - Hardtail bought new 2018 for mixing the riding up a bit.

Thinking about it I do still have a 15+ year old Scott MTB, but it's been used once by a visiting friend since I bought the Whyte 3 years ago and is now waiting for my son to grow a little more.

And you can't just click 7 (or 5), I need details! biggrin

Road bike for, er, road.
F/S MTB for fun rides with mates, or anywhere I haven't ridden before with unpredictable terrain
Hardtail 29er MTB for solo fast rides on local trails and/or racing

Love more, but no more space in the spare room...

Carbon Road Bike for er Roads (Dry weather, special event type bike thing)
Alu Road Bike now for Winter/Wet Duties (First road bike so won't ever get rid)
29er MTB for going out with the Sprog, but I've been out exploring some local bridleways this week and enjoyed it

Want a gravel bike now for doing what I've done on the MTB this week and also I'd like to do the Paris-Roubaix sportive at some point in future and would use it for that!

1. Cannondale Supersix Evo Team Hi-Mod. DA di2, Zipp 202s.
2. Condor Super Acciaio (steel). SRAM Red.
3. Enigma Etape, TItainium winter/touring bike.
4. Raleigh 753 Team Panasonic/Weinmann. 1985/6. Campagnolo Super Record.
5. Cannondale SuperX.
6. Scott Plasma TT.
7. Canyon Grand Canyon SLX 9.8

Sold one last month so it would’ve been 8. The only one that doesn’t get used much is the Raleigh which gets only a few outings per year. The Plasma is in semi retirement as I’ve not raced a TT for a few years although that was the plan this year until I broke my leg.

4, soon to become three.

2012 Scott Foil - old road bike, just getting cleaned up to be sold.

2014 Cervelo P5 - Triathlon bike, usually on the turbo outside of races as it’s not ideal in traffic.

2015 Cannondale Slate - Winter Bike

2019 Cervelo S5 - new road bike to replace the Scott.

Three that are mine and in regular use, ten in the garage overall...

2006 Giant XTC converted to fully rigid with carbon forks, and running 1.75" slicks with 3x9 groupset. For when I feel the need to be challenged
2012 Yeti ASR5 - fun bike, soon to be replaced as its taken a bit of a beating and bikes have moved on
2016 Norco Search - carbon-framed gravel bike that goes just about anywhere

Also have a late-1990's GT Tempest in a state of rebuild just because its there. Have a set of 1999 Marzocchi Flylight Air for it too...

There are six other bikes for the kids and MrsPB

Just two at the moment

Cube Acid 27.5" hardtail MTB I've had since 2014
Cube Attain GTC Pro disc road bike I bought in 2017 and need to ride more this year than last

I'm not against other brands but I preferred the geometry on the MTB more than the others I tried at the shop when I bought it and it was great spec for the money, so I ended up buying the Cube road bike, which was about half price as it was the last year's model.

I'd have more (probably a single speed hardtail) but I live in a first floor flat so it's a pain in the arse lugging stuff up a flight of stairs to my spare bedroom already and I can't get anything too muddy as I have to clean it in the bath laugh

It appears my number is in the minority! I have 5.

1998 Carrera Integer MTB. Only really used now to carry the eldest son and occasional station bike should my Brompton brake.
2014 Planet X SLX CX Bike
2009 Giant Defy running SMRAM Force. Not much original left on that bike.
2016 Fuji Transonic 'Best Bike'. Bought on CTW scheme becuase iot was the best value. Very capable, but will eventually be sold and replaced with something disc and aero
2016 Brompton. The workhorse. Used five days a week all year. Paid for its self four times now and thats including shop maintenance. On wheel set number two, bit other than that it's doing ok smile Think its just ticked over 7000 miles since purchase.

Cannondale caad8 105 roadie

Trek ex8 full susser

26" Orange evo2 with rigid forks, 2x10 SLX and hope brakes.

Oddly I've been using the orange quite a lot recently for off road trails as it climbs like a mountain goat and I love the immediate handling on the downs.

Been considering a 29" hardtail as n=4.
