Electric MTB instead of Green Lane bike - £2k
Discussion
Apologies if this has been done to death. I'm thinking of switching to an electric MTB instead of a green lane bike.
I'll have about £2k to spend later today if all goes well but I'm not sure that's enough?
I am by no means hardcore - it would be used for light trails with a bit of mud - probably just popping out for an hour or two early on a weekend morning.
I do like the ides of something that can be easily derestricted and wouldn't mind a bit of range so I can meet my mate 10 miles away, get muddy and then ride back relatively easily. I did a 100 miler last year so I'm not bad on a bike but the increased speed appeals to me as I can cover more ground in the time I have available.
All advice welcome even if it's come back when you have £4k
Cheers!
Phil
