Bewl Water Loop
Discussion
I’ve done it both ways but not for a long time. Mtb/hybrid or gravel type bike as some of it is muddy.
Clockwise is my preferred route as the surface on the last mile or so isn’t (or certainly didn’t used to be) good, and I’d rather tackle that at the end rather than the beginning.
There’re 2 hills I’m the middle but otherwise pretty flat.

I've only been once went around clockwise, then back the other way. The climb is steeper and earlier if going anti-clockwise with more road on a shallower climb if going clockwise. If it is wet it is probably easier clockwise, IIRC there are some steps you can ride down anti-clockwise, but are trickier clockwise, but it is only a short section. It is quite an easy ride really, I did a couple of loops of Bedgbury last week and that is a lot more challenging.
