I'll be using it for the first time tomorrow, but just charged it up for a bit and switched it on. I have to say, in a dark room it seems to be quite powerful, especially the light which shines on the floor/ground to light up a space around you.

It took 25 days for me to get it because they're dispatched from Australia. Some of that time was due to the package being held up in customs whilst Parcel Force sent me a letter to let me know I had to pay an import tax on it. So, the light was over £90 when taking tax into account.

I currently use a Cateye Volt 80 which I think I paid 60 sheets for back in 2016. However, because I normally leave the house in the morning when it's dark, I wanted something a bit different than a front flash or flashing beam. One of the modes on this DING is a flashing front beam but it's more of a smooth and odd timed pulse and whilst it shines a solid light below to light up an area around you. The idea being is that drivers tend to look out for "things" which light up the road surface...

I'll see how it goes and will report back on this thread.
