Recommend me some tyres
Discussion
I’m currently using Schwalbe Marathon Plus on the rear and Clement X’Plor USH on the front - both 700x35c. Both have been good for road and firetrail, with the occasional foray along single track. Schwalbe better on road, Clement better off. Bike is a Norco Search and gets a pasting...
I moved to a set of these -

in October to deal with the detritus from leaf drop on the roads, they work well on and on gravel. Not much reduction in speed on the tyres below, less than 1mph in my experience.
In summer, I've used these for last 3 years, evidently the fastest rolling tyre of it's type - (https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/TYVIVOHY/vittoria-voyager-hyper-folding-tyre)
Worth having a look on here, as slower rubber is quite dragging - https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com

28mm GP 4 Seasons or GP 4/5000 but basically any tyre is good.
In traditional style for this board I will give another shout for the GP 4 Season 'cos thats what I run tooMine are 32mm and give me the flexibility to go off road
They roll fairly well and have decent protection for winter when I really dont want to be changing tubes at the road side
In summer Id use a full on conventional slick
Cheers
Thanks for your thoughts.
I'm thinking of getting these Continentals in 28c https://www.wiggle.co.uk/continental-grand-prix-40... for the Spring/Summer, and then when the weather turns in the Autumn, reverting to my current 35c Schwalbe G-One tyres.
The wheels I have on the bike are described as "Syncros Race 24 Disc 28front/rear" which are made by Alex Rims, so I need to somehow work out if these narrower tyres will fit.

Assuming this is a different bike to the OP, as it appears to be rim braked? If this is the case, the limiting factor on tyre size will be your rim brake clearance on standard calipers, I know on my road bike I can just about squeeze 28mm on that. However, not all tyres come up at a consistent size. Most tyre reviews mention whether they do or don't.
It is the same bike, I’m not sure why the sticker refers to the rims getting worn through braking, as I definitely have disc brakes.
The current tyres are 35c, my concern is that the rims may be for wide tyres only, and 28c may be too narrow, but if the the 21mm is the width I’m hoping I should be ok?

Just to update this, I bought some Continental GP4000s 10 days ago, and the difference is very noticeable, I'm averaging about 1.5 to 2 mph quicker now, feel less tired after longer rides and got my first Strava KOM.
Thanks for the advice
