I have a whyte 905, I was just going to get a replacement tyre for it should the worst happen but I'm confused as to what to get.

Maxxis High Roller II 27.5 x 2.80 maxx terra 3c EXO tubeless ready is on the sidewall

The tyre you've linked is a 2.3", do you want another 2.8* to match what you have already?
I assume your bike has wide rims that may suit the wider tyre better.

aw cock I just noticed I picked a 2.3 yes I'd replace like for like with a 2.8

I've just put a 2.8 minion DHF on the front of my bike. Seems it's the usual answer on the internet when I was looking.. based on that I thought I'd try it, can be a complete hooligan on it now. Slower but more fun than the Recon the bike came with
