Thoughts on this new groupset?

Seems very forward thinking to me, loads of options. Looks bloody lovely...

Not seen any prices yet, got to be around 2/3K for a full groupset.

Does look great though, nice to see chainsets in various sizes

A really aesthetically pleasing groupset which would look great on a high-end (or any) bike. Looks far better than Shimano alternatives IMO.

Its cleaner than the Di2 equivalent, but because of that it looses out to Di2 in one area. The battery run time for the mechs is only 20 hours! Ok for day rides and racing, but for the average owner or tourer/bikepacker, Di2 wins hands down.

And when the chainrings wear out you have to replace the whole power meter. Albeit at a 50% discount, but still WTF.. and how will that go with transfer of ownership?

I think I'll pass!

It still won’t work as well as Shimano.

Really? Is that from experience of deep seated loyalty one brand?

20 hours are to be intended as actual working time, not cycling time.
We've discussed that between friends and with a very rough calculation of 0,50 seconds working time per gear change, that would equal a total of 144.000 gear changes on a charge.
