Any one else doing it this year? The devil ride did seem a bit much (more the entry at £100 than the 300km) so went for the Gran Fondo distance instead.

Yes I am - the devil. I did it last year (sunny, nice) and the year before (wet, cold, miserable).

It’s a proper long ride and climb, without the hassle of travelling abroad.

Starting to think about some long ride training.

Should be fun, none of the climbs on their own look too horrible to be honest. Just a case of managing energy levels through the day.

I've been working on upping power over winter, need to get back onto longer runs when the weather improves.
