Hi all

We have recently been given an old folding bike and I wondered if any of you lovely people could shed any light on it please?
Does it have any value or is it just fit for the recycling center or a museum? biggrin
I can get some better pictures if necessary but for now this is all I have:

I guess it came from a shop in Wigan but judging by the old 5 digit phone number it was a l o n g time ago! laugh

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks FF

Google suggests its a Bridgestone Picnica from the early 1980's. It should be a belt drive.

It is indeed..........

You can still buy the Picnica Bridgestone stickers on eBay although no actual bikes listed.

Shop.

Possibly chop-shop though.

Maybe that bike didn't start out life as a folder...?
