Interesting article about road survival

I said this a while ago on here. I almost T boned a well lit cyclist on a 40mph roundabout in a huge industrial estate. He was crackers for riding on the road and not the supplied cycleway..but that's another argument.
I didn't spot him, my wife did. I took evasive action not know what I was avoiding.
If there is too much information; low light, rain, multiple cars etc etc. Cars WONT see you. So I only ever road ride on deserted roads. Ever.

Good article, I've read about the difficulties the human eye has seeing things moving towards it before, so I try to move around in my lane when approaching a junction, the movement of a bike going right then left is much easier for the eye to see. It's easier to do on a motorbike as you usually have the entire lane available to move around in.
