Anyone got a Ridgeback balance bike for their little one and can share their thoughts? Am considering either the Ridgeback Scoot or the Ridgeback Dimension Runner (2017 model) for my 2 year old daughter. Want to keep to a max budget of £100 and both of these look to be decent quality and available for about £85.

Thanks but hoping to get something in a neutral colour so its future proofed.

Can't seem to find many owner reviews of the Dimension Runner, anyone had one? Pros over the Scoot look to be sealed hub bearings and a threadless stem rather than quill, although probably over thinking it for a 2 year old! It was more expensive back in 2017 but they seem to have removed it from the line up and focusing on the Scoot.

There isn't much to a balance bike, not sure it's even worth spending anywhere near £100.00 on, my kids used a balance bike called a Boppi they are very light (maybe even lighter than ridgeback as don't have a brake etc) adjust to fit 2 to 4yr old and cost about £30. Save your cash for later bikes (by 5 years old and riding bikes with gears, prices start getting expensive for good and better quality bikes).

We went with a lightly used Specialized Hotwalk, it was from a friend and immaculate.

Had a good range of saddle and bar adjustability and saw my son through from 2yrs old to getting straight on his Frog43 at just over 3.
