What's people's thoughts?

It looks great on paper but part of me says 1.something-k for a aluminum framed bike?

What do people think and is the wheelset good enough to keep as it is? I'd change tyres.

I've had a look at the specs.

Either go as cheap as possible (£800 at Evans, minus £75 for trading in a snotter), or go up the range to get all the snazzy FutureShock technology.

If you're thinking of this kind of bike then Planet X has its London Road with Apex hydraulic brakes (1x10 drivetrain I think) for £599. Hydros are a significant performance upgrade over Tektro Spyres/Spykes.

Best of luck with your search

Ah, understood. I had a vague memory of you mentioning that in a previous thread so I nearly didn't post it!

Spec-wise the GT Grade stacks up pretty well, have you had a look at that?
