The bike I got comes with schwalbe marathon plus 25mm, The ride isn't the nicest when you hit some hardpack paths or bad tarmac nor is rolling resistance.

Can anyone recommend some good tyres that are suitable for very light off road (bad tarmac/ hardpack paths/very light snow) has got excellent Rolling resistance and specially GOOD comfort levels? ( durability is important as well of course). I do not need off-road tyre, but something that will at least handle some light bad roads/conditions.

Looking for something that comes in 30-32mm real life size as that's the max my frame will take. (want the bigger width for more comfort and ability to run them at lower pressures)

I have heard that the GP 4000S II in 28mm size comes up to like 31mm in real life and are very very good rolling

What are some other as good/better tyres for such purposes and that comes up in larger sizes like the 30mm-32mm?

Compass tyres are what you need, chinook pass are 700-28. Stampede pass are 700-32.
These tyres are designed by an American guy who has done a fantastic amount of miles on gravel type bikes. He has them made by Panaracer in Japan.
They are tested for rolling resistance on actual bikes on different surfaces, not on drum test machines.
The tread pattern is a shallow file type which looks like it won’t work off road, but it does.not snow or deep mud,but everything else. It relies on a lowish pressure and a big volume. The grip is quite amazing and so is the speed of these tyres.
I use the Barlow pass version which is 700-38 on a Surly Straggler, I was sceptical but have been amazed.
Prior to these I used Panaracer Cinder, Ritchey Excavader and Surly Knard. In mud all of these were marginally better, but everywhere else, including frost and ice the Compass were so much better.
They are expensive,£50 a tyre and I nearly didn’t buy because of this, but the performance including mileage is worth it.
Only available in the UK from Velo Vitality. Look up their website and follow the links to read the story of these tyres.
I have no connection to these companies and have only bought two tyres from them.

Panaracer Gravel Kings (the standard version with the file tread), which go up to 32mm. I have the SK version, and they are fantastic: light and supple and very comfortable.
