Not the best sub forum for this post but I couldn't find a better one...

Got a buggy with solid non-pneumatic rubber tires. There is a slight split in one of them and they are only replacable for £50 for 2 which is nuts. Can anyone suggest a way of repariing or giving it a bit more life? I thought of maybe some rubber cement and ruberized patch tape, any ideas

Some sort of PU adhesive like Sikaflex/Tigerseal would probably work ok to fill in the split.
