After my recent thread with regard damaged spokes on my new wheels I found myself buying a pr of tubeless Mavic ksyrium wheels and tyres while my other wheels are repaired. All good, we’ll not quite! Got my new wheels home on Monday night, looked forward to a ride out Tuesday only to find new wheels flat, so back to shop with them. “Sorry Sir we have reinflated them and put slime in, should be good to go” . So back home looking forward to ride out Wednesday, you guessed it flat again so back to shop, “Very sorry sir we’ve checked them over, reslimed them and should be good to go”. So roll on Thursday you guessed it flat again!
At this point what do I do?
Demand my money back?
Give them another chance to repair?
Do you think the wheels are faulty but seeing it’s two wheels isn’t that unlikely?

Really pissed off running back and forward tbh.

Cheers
Steve

It's probably a duff application of rim tape. I'd recommend trying a different bike shop as the evidence suggests the current outfit may not be all that talented.

This, it really isn’t hard to get right. Sadly most bike shops seem to employ people otherwise unemployable just cause they can ride a bike. Riding a bike and being able to maintain a bike are different things that seem to be forgotten.

I've sometimes found that you actually need to go for a ride once you've first fitted them, or they'll hold air but lose it overnight.

Get some Stan's Race Fluid, this stuff will seal up anything, I swear by it.

The other thing to do is get some soapy water all over the wheel/tyre and see where the bubbles are coming from, could just be a loose valve etc.

Took me a week of the Hokey Cokey before mine sealed, been great ever since.

Update, after 4 attempts it seems the wheels are now holding pressure, fingers crossed.
Thanks for feedback.
