Road tyres with "some" puncture protection

While my gatorskins have been great in terms of puncture resistance and wear, I'm not convinced about their wet grip. They can be quite sketchy in the wrong conditions.
I'm convinced about their wet grip - convinced it's a liability. I have them on the back of one of my bikes, wouldn't want one on the front.Deerfoot said:

I've been served well by Schwalbe Durano.
Same here, can't remember the last time I had a puncture and I ride a lot on country lanes.TheInternet said:

I use 32mm on my commuter cross bike, road and gravel tracks, having previously used Durano 28mm.
I did a century road & gravel/cobbles Sportive last year on them too. There appeared to be no penalty from the fatter tyres on the road for me.

Am impressed with Vittoria Corsa G+. Only 1,500 miles so far but are light, durable and roll well - claim to have a graphene layer for puncture resistance. Much better suited to UK roads than the Pirelli P-zero velos which acted as a grit magnet (though they were nice on Mallorca tarmac).
