I've got a rather poor quality front suspension fork on my ebike, a "Suntour NCX-28". The bike has 700C wheels.

What are my options for an upgrade? I want something that can handle rocky trails.

Is it a difficult task to change forks?

Cheers

What bike is it? 700c is a road bike wheel size?
Looks like it is a 28" Air Fork with a straight steerer tube. Quite a weird size.
Sure you cant convince yourself to upgrade to a modern new bike. £500 will get you a decent hardtail which will probably be a world of difference to ride.
Oops missed it was an ebike. Can't you get the forks serviced?

Unfortunately your choices are really limited as all the best forks are MTB specific and for a couple of reasons they won’t fit your bike.

These however do fit and should be a lot lighter and better damped than you have now, just don’t expect it to turn into a Downhill bike wink

They're the same, RockShox have changed their naming structure it seems for 2018 and dropped the 'Gold' part of the name, or maybe CRC just didn't bother, either way they seem to be exactly the same to me.

Oh, one thing I just thought about, your bike will need Disc brakes to use them, or you'll need to fit them - the V-Brake versions don't seem to be available.
