I know eBay and pink bike but is there any forums etc that are more road orientated? Pinkbike is great but is mountain bike orientated and as I'm more off road minded I don't really know any road decent? forums to post it on.

Try Facebook for the various buy and sell groups. Eg Yorkshire cycling buy and sell is one but I’m sure there will be some near you.

I bought a bike via cyclechat once.
Singletrackworld seems busy, but unfiltered so you get xboxes and all sorts in there. I've had some good bits from there though, my northwave Celsius boots and new-old-stock £40 brifters.

Dammit, just went in for a look to make sure it was still going and I think I've gone and bought something!

Facebook market place is very good for selling all kinds of stuff. We are in the process of re-building our kitchen and we have sold all of our old appliances on FB market place,. Quicker and cheaper (Free) than Ebay.

Ebay are also really clamping down on selling outside of the auction and messages of offers etc etc. We got threatened with a ban and all sorts for doing that with an old XBox 360, which we sold for £50 including games.

Forget Ebay unless you go collection only.

Too many sellers getting conned due to Ebays loony policies.
