First road bike for the Mrs

The good lady has decided she would like to take up road biking. Budget c£1000. Read varying articles about if a ladies specific bike is needed, she is 5' 8" and a 32" leg

Any recommendations? Seen all the liv bikes etc but also feel she may get a better previous model men's bike. Any recommendations?

Think the budget will be pushed for carbon & 105

My wife has just decided to start as well.

We scoured e-bay and ended up with a 2016 Cube Axial WLS. It was hardly used and came in at £200. Collected it the other night and it seems perfect.
