2017 Supersix Evo Hi Mod - raise the stem?

A pal has bought one of these secondhand despite a few people saying he might find it a bit too aggressive and how has back pain - bike fitter who has seen him subsequently says the bars need to be higher but the stem isn't tall enough to allow any adjustment.

He'd like to keep the bike factory looking, i.e. not change out the forks or something - so is there a solution we are missing?

Sell it and buy a bike with the right geometry imo

Surely a decent fitter would have some stems to try or advise exactly what is needed

As above get a higher angled one and flip it upwards
