Anyone entering the Ard Rock?
Discussion
I did it this year, it is awesome! Not doing it next year but am looking to do something else.
You'll get in if you are at your computer at 6.30, think it sold out in 12 mins this year!
You going with anyone else? If so then get them at the PC too so whoever gets in can get the tickets

Good work! I'm not too fussed after all is said, my old racing days are over, the more chilled out Sunday might be more suitable! Still want to ave it though!
I did Sunday this year as couldn't get tickets for the "enduro".Having done this event for the past few years it felt exactly the same as the main event. The only difference been I didn't want to drink too much on the Saturday night haha.
I tried getting into one of the Enduro's at 6:34am - the only one saying availability was the intro, tried for 2 tickets and it wouldn't let me proceed so opted for the Marathon instead.
Went on when I got to work and the Sport was available again but couldn't bring myself to book that too.
Not sure what to expect really - Peak District type riding??
Time to get training!!

Anyone doing the Ard Moors event? I managed to get a place on that one. Looking forward to it. Managed to get a couple of rides nearby in Guisborough woods recently. Great area for biking.
I did it and loved it! I think it was better than the 'Ard Rock too! But I'm local so might be biased, ride Guisborough every week.

Nice one. Yeah was a great event with brilliant trails. Glad the weather held up too. But I'm local so might be biased, ride Guisborough every week.
How may of the trails there do the locals ride out with the event? I heard that stage 5 is rideable all year. Reason I ask is my GF is from Boro so we travel down to the area every now and then and I usually take the bike.

Yeh you can get away with stage 2 and 5... possibly most of 3, not sure if that was a bridal way.How may of the trails there do the locals ride out with the event? With 5 I would ask at loadstones to make sure, maybe buy a coffee and cake too! However I don't think you can ride the whole stage as I think it drops onto farm land?
