Can anyone recommend a decent winter bike. Would like disc brakes (ideally with quick release), half decent group set (105 would be good) and sub £1,000.00.

If you wait a few months you should be able to pick up a decent 2017 bike in the sales for less than £1000, with hydraulic brakes.
