Side swiped by tractor/trailer

Cock of a tractor driver brushed my arm with a 20ft flatbed trailer on an overtake forcing me onto the verge (luckily no kerb otherwise i think I'd be dead), was his second attempt as the first one failed when the tractor was rear wheel along side me due to oncoming traffic. When I yelled some plesantries at him he stopped dead in the road opened his cab window and told me to foxtrot oscar. Foolish me overtook him. He then overtook me through some blind s bends taking a like that forced me to stop in the road or get flat packed. Took a photo of him while stopped but the number plate hasn't come out. Will plod even do anything? Is it even worth bothering to report?

Would be a shame if one of those expensive tractor tyres got a puncture.

My over take was while he was stopped, TBH I thought he was going to get out to open a gate he was near, if I knew it was just to tell me to FO I would have stayed behind him.

Classic case of being technically right but in reality wrong.

You're holding up a tractor. His max speed means it's hard to overtake. Why not back off for 20s and let him past?

Instead, you frustrate him then he acts like a dick. Twice. You can learn from the outcome.

I was riding up hill at about 15kmh, I was not holding him up at all, apart from the failed overtake because he didn't spot the car coming, he was past me as soon as he got to me on the road, He was driving like a dick for not giving me space that was there, the road was empty when he went past me but he saw fit to try and put me in the hedge. FFS

If you know the number plate (even though it's not on the photo) then go for it. If you don't then the police can't really do much to find who it was.

Passed details to local PCSO, village plod long gone LOL PCSO chap is actually quite good, going to call in at the farm and have a word about giving bikes space
