Cycle clothes shops - Manchester

Anyone have any recommendations for cycling clothes shops in Manchester?

Due to rugby and the gym i am shaped like a triangle. Coupled with having a little one in the last few months I am now shaped like a hexagon.Ordering cycle clothes online is a nightmare - the different cuts and fits of various styles aimed at the slimmer racier gentleman leaves me somewhat at a loss.This leaves me with having to try everything before i buy it.

I additionally work from home, so it means i need to purposely travel to go and try things.

Evans - Deansgate / Trafford one has a better selection of clothes.

Harry Hall cycles is a shadow of its former self and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

There a Decathalon in Stockport and another in Bolton, Stockport's probably closer.

What about Go Outdoors in Ancoats, they've got a bike sale on at the moment. I've got a discount card if you want it, bought a tent from them a couple of weeks ago, I've got no intention of getting anything else.

One of the best bike shops in the 1960's was Cowans on Hyde Road in Gorton, bought my Merlin racing bike there in 1966..

Harry Halls was excellent at the time, his place was an Aladdin's cave of Bob Jacksons, Dawes, Carltons etc.

No internet buying in them days..........
