Elite speed/cadence sensor pairing

Morning all,

I recently bought an Elite speed/cadence sensor with the intention of using it with Zwift.

I've fitted it to the bike (and with a new battery) but I'm unable to work out how to pair it with my iPhone SE. I've got Bluetooth enabled, but neither the normal Bluetooth Settings screen nor the Zwift Mobile Connect app see the sensor to then pair with it.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? The instructions that came with it are....minimalist chic to say the least!

Is it definitely the Bluetooth version?

A quick Google suggests there are both bt and Ant+ versions.

Don't you have to be pedalling for it to "switch on"?
