Not a Capra - but I own the predecessor (YT Wicked) and have just ordered a YT Tue CF Pro.
A couple of mates have Capras and I have ridden them a lot on eveything from full on DH trails to bimbles around the woods
Great bikes, superb spec and incredible value. They respond best to being ridden hard - they descend better than they climb as the relatively slack head angle and 170mm fork causes the front to wonder around a bit.
New ones have Lyrics (as does mine) rather than Pikes and this suits the bike better I feel as you get a burlier and stiffer front end which is a bit more confidence inspiring when dropping into rock gardens etc.

You can believe the hype, they are incredibly good fun to ride and are capable of going very quickly indeed. The current ones seem to be robust and the 2016 ones are identical to the 2015 ones frame wise, which is good because they did have some quality issues in the past and weren’t great at communicating with owners about fixing them (original Capra CF had a CF rear which cracked often, but for the last couple of years they've used an Alu rear end on all Capras).
I think people need to keep in mind though what they are and what they're for - I live in South Wales, BPW is just up the road, so is Cwmcarn, Afan etc, plus endless opportunity to throw myself down silly stuff in the back of beyond, on top of that there's the annual Alps trip and more importantly I've only got room for one bike. No n+1 for me sadly and I think it'll be a bit overly easy on some of it at least. They're up to 180/175mm travel now, the smallest is 160/160 but most are 170/175, they do climb well for what they are - but I read so many people who are getting caught up in the hype and swapping hardtails and short-travel bikes for these monsters to ride the same bridleways and forest trails they always have done, I wonder if they'll end up being disappointed when they're out on their 60km cross-country jaunt and it just sucks because it's got massive tyres, lots of travel and not enough gravity to really get it moving.

Have a whyte 909 h/t for 'out and about' stuff, but want a replacement for the Orange for the Welsh trail centres, and Morzine etc...
On the sizing, I am around 5.10... which on their site suggests a medium, however other sites suggest at 5.10 a large is what i should be looking at.... any ideas?
