My boy has outgrown his Specialized Hotrock 20. Anyone got any any thoughts on the Boardman Junior bikes?

They are discounted at the moment meaning they appear to be pretty good value.

Well due to the fact that no one had anything negative to say I bought one.

Ended up with this one...I preferred the simplicity of the other one but boys will be boys and he wants to fit in with his mates who have suspension forks etc.

Dunno what the concensus is but with a further 10% off it seemed like a pretty good deal at £220.

Interesting, my lad is on the cusp of outgrowing his Hotrock. I had no idea Boardman were doing junior bikes so will check them out.

I just bought my daughter one of the ones in your first picture to cycle to school on, bargain at £200 delivered, I did not want anything too expensive , I could not find anything small enough second hand. She loves it, pretty good quality the only thing I would not have chosen is the 7 x 3 gearing. It is shimano but I think it is a screw on cassette, when was the last time you saw one of those... Not great for upgrades but I'm sure she will never wear it out
