I have a Carrera Fury which I have been using with road tyres as my commuter whilst using my Cannondale for trails. Having just bought a full suspension bike, the Cannondale will now do the commuting duties and I'm looking to sell the Carrera.

Appreciate it's nothing like most of the bikes here but I'm stuck at where to price it. I bought it a couple of years ago from a friend who had only used it to cycle to & from his sports club so it's not seen any heavy work - the deal involved beer, motorcycle parts & cash!

Looking around, there seems to be such a variance of price, I guess partly because the model name was used for some time.

Carrera Fury XC Spec
Shimano Hubs with ddm rims, Sram X7 changers, X5 shifters. RockShox Tora Forks with lock out (I'm assuming hydraulic). Tektro Auriga Hydraulic Disc brakes - 180 disc on the front/160 rear. Truvativ Crank.

I fitted 31.8mm stem & bars to make it look more modern plus a Specialized seat on a Tigoa post. I have also put the barely used tyres & pedals on it from the Marin I have just bought.

I'm out of touch with specs and don't know how these compare or whether they are indeed worth quoting on what is a Halfords bike.

If admin think this is a disguised ad then please remove but I'm honestly after a benchmark price before I advertise it locally. I have seen similar aged bikes with faults for £150 - £200 but never thought mine's worth so much.
