which is 2016 king of the road ?

I love the hype over the Venge and the vids and the 2 minutes saved over 25 miles claim !, but the brakes don't seem to work and it weighs a bit more than the Trek.

Thats the outgoing Venge pictured isn't it. No integrated brakes there? Can't help but think they would be a huge pita to setup and use anyway, especially looking at the cable routing.

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but the Trek is much more pleasing on the eye.

But I do love the "cable-less" look of both of them.

That new Vag is ugly as sin, not as bad as the Look kit but, no. I'd prefer a standard set of DA or Red calipers when pointing downhill smile

I'd take the Trek out of the 2, but it would have to have Campag Super Record, not that stuff from the fishing tackle maker

The Trek looks well thought out, the Specialized thrown together based on the aero engineers wet dreams. We'll have to wait and see but I expect the Madone will be the faster of the two.

Also, it appears neither Cav nor Sagan got on with the new Venge as they were mostly riding the old one with the new bars.

Cyclist rate the £9.3k version of the Trek as faster than an Aerorad, S5, list of other aero bikes. A "game changer" !
