Alligator i-link cables?

Has anybody used Alligator i-link cables on there mechanical groupset road bike?
I am going to be putting my build together soon and went for mechanical dura-ace groupset. I have been reading about compression-less cable housing and then I saw a YouTube video that showed Alberto Contador still uses mechanical Dura-Ace and uses Alligator iLink cabling as it supposed to be more reliable, last a longer due to less friction and slightly quicker changes and so on... I like the idea of the longevity of them.....the milliseconds of quicker changes aren't really an issue for me as I guess it would be for the likes of Contador.
As I am well into the build budget (use the word budget loosely) I thought in for a penny in a few more pounds....
Any feedback or experience welcome.

Not a roadie but have used them for about 6 years on my MTB race bike. Nothing bad to report about them but compress them before cutting the (replaceable!) liner.
If you go down the PowerCordz route (which I have moved away from) you will need to watch the cable tension when in top gear as i-links do not have the inherent stiffness of a steel outer cable - the links can droop. Not really a problem with a steel inner though.

I have take the plunge and ordered a set.I was going to either use the steel cabling I already have from my Dura Ace groupset or look at the PTFE coated ones Alligator do http://clee-cycles.co.uk/esite/P1513/product What do you run now you don't run Powercordz?
To be honest, good old fashioned steel cables. Powercordz were great though. Never stretch, fray etc. But trying the feed them through an internally routed frame late at night when they defy gravity and just want to coil up near the entry point is a tad frustrating!
