Any experiences good, bad or indifferent with a bike fit service in the subject areas?

Garth at Vankru cycling without any shadow of a doubt. Absolutely fantastic service, just make sure you get your measurements before you go, as aftersales is a bit of a let down (but shows how good he is as I still always recommend him)

Can honestly say I've never heard of these blokes before, but look a professional outfit!

Former Royal Marine, I think. The guy also builds his own range of very high-end bikes.

OP there's also Gerrit the 'Bike Whisperer' in Newbury. He's more than a bit skilled.

Velocity in Cosham do a bike fit for £75 too. That is where I went.

(although someone mentioned on here the other day that the shop was shutting down soon. It certainly looked open last time I passed a week or so ago)

Just googled ' http://www.velocitybikes.co.uk/ ' seems that the shop is still there, but under a different name. I imagine that they will still bike fit.

I had my bike fit done here and it made a big difference.

They are changing names but both Tina and Mike are leaving..... Hopefully they'll still do a bike fit service. I hope they maintain their standard of servicing too.

I used Cycle World in London Road, Portsmouth for the more stubborn bits of a rebuild I was doing on my mountain bike a few years ago. They did the job at a reasonable price. A fair few people at work use them as well, never heard any complaints.

We have another local to Newbury too, with Pro Bike Fit , in Thatcham, which is very well reputed as well.
