CX bike chain jumping off under load
Discussion
Evening gents,
Recently I picked up a Ridley X-Bow 10 Disc and after a few days I noticed that in high gears if I put a heavy load on the chain jumps off. Originally I thought this was just because it's a new bike and cables are stretching so today I adjusted all the cables.
I'm still finding that if I'm in the big ring on a high gear it's jumping. An example would be I'm building up speed and working through the gears, no issues. I then stop pedalling for a moment then start pedalling again, the chain will come off. Now me and my ride are both experienced in the world of bikes but are stumped as to the cause of this.
The bike will be going back to the shop for its 6 week checkup slightly early because of this but I'm interested to know what you all think so I can possibly remedy it prior to finding the time to get to the shop.
