Decent Midlands bike shop wanted

Mike Vaughan Cycles in Kenilworth. I've had a few bits from them over the years and they've always been helpful.

Try The Bike Yard in Leamington Spa.

A great shop run by a group of very friendly and helpful people.

Mike Vaughan is a nice shop but they basically deal in Specialized (there are a couple of others in there but not a full range). I have been in there before when they have turned away service work because their workshops are so busy building bikes.
John Atkins cycles is worth a shout at the bottom of Leamington, but the bikeyard appear to be felt dealers so another shout for them.
If you can get to Daventry, Leisure Lakes have a swanky new (huge) retail unit. Not used their servicing personally but might be worth a try.

If you're in/near Daventry/northampton then give joyride cycles in weedon a go.... justin and nathalie who own it are doing what a good local bike shop should, good service, knowledgable mechanics and always try to help... Unlike other "shed" bike shops in the area who when in you're fix, if they can't see a decent sale out of it can't be bothered....
