Alloy Seat-post in Carbon Frame - Grease or something else?

My bike has been serviced a couple of times by the local LBS but as I am getting more competent at fixing/adjusting things, I have found that I can generally do a better job (especially when it comes to the drive train).

My bike is now 2 years old and I have never tried removing the seat-post, I have read that the seat-post should be removed, inspected and greased occasionally.
The bike has a carbon frame and an alloy seat-post. Assuming that the seat-post can be removed easily should I grease it, apply carbon assembly paste or "anti-seize".

Carbon assembly paste of some sort or other, not plain grease or you could end up on your ass

I've been using copper grease which seems to be holding up okay, but I guess I should be switching based on the above post.

been using anti seize grease since forever, never had any issues like this.

You would use fibre grip when the post itself is carbon, as there is a much lower limit to how tight you can do up the seatpost clamp
