Is there such a thing as a 'resonable' life for a BB? When I need to replace it, do the ceramic ones offer any benefit (other than an exponential lesson in man-maths) over the standard ones?
I've just replaced one at 2000 miles (MTB and alot of Winter / Muddy Riding), Thought my problem was the BB but it turned out not to be so could have kept it going, that was a Standard one (SRAM GXP) and replaced like for like.
