Mate swears by them on his mtb. But they are damn heavy, block the valves and are not that great at sealing, judging by the puncture pads I have put on them recently. I am sure you will have similar issues with the road versions.

I wasn't convinced if im honest lol

I hit a huge hole in the road tonight, killed a rear tyre and tube and possibly a rim, tyres have been ordered (Vittoria Zaffiro Clinchers) just looking for decent tubes.

This has been a bad week for cycling !!!

for low pressure mountain bike tyres they're a lifesaver in a get you home to fix it properly kind of way. Road tyres drain too fast for it to seal you just get a green back/face very amusing when you see one go infront of you and paint your mate green though lol

Seem to work on my bike - I've had a couple of punctures which have 'fixed' themselves.

Bloody heavy but great for the commuter bike. I'll be getting them again.

Once they do their self sealing job you'll be putting air in your tyres more often and they are about 310g instead of 160g for a MTB sized tyre. Personally I just carry a spare tube and fix holes when I get home, or on my MTB run tubeless. They are funny to watch if you're running 90+ psi as they won't seal wink

Stans tubeless fluid, I did get punctures almost every ride as I'm based in the countryside with poor roads, loads of flint and thorns. Since putting 30ml Stans no tubes in my road bike tubes I've had no flats, I do have a few white spots on the tyres where it's obviously sealed would be flats.
