How often do you top up your latex?
Discussion
My new full susser came tubeless just before Christmas, and having shredded a tyre last week, this morning I've been busy with the gorilla tape and new tyres, converting my hardtail to run tubeless as well...
The instructions on the latex say something absurdly vague like "replace every 2 to 7 months", but as we know, most of us have been happily running suspension forks (manufacturer's instructions - service every 12 months) since the end of the Plantagenet era without the slightest concern, so I'm just wondering how often people on here bother?
If it makes any difference, the tyres are Maxxis Ardent LUST (surely the greatest snigger name ever for a tyre, especially fitted to my Cove Handjob!
) and High Roller LUST on the HT, and Specialized Butcher and Grid (iirc) on the FS.
