Bespoke bikes

Just had a couple of the guys from Bespoke in to chat to us at work.

Essentially, they're a bike fitting service but they also stock some really nice kit.

It it did make me laugh a little that the two bikes they brought in were a little out of the typical Ride to Work schemes.

They had a beautiful bike from Parlee (£3,299 for the frame) with Lightweight wheels complete with bonded spokes at a mere £3,500.

They have several shops in London, Mayfair (go figure); Farringdon and are opening in the City in April (Gresham Street) and Canary Wharf soon.

We're based in Knightsbridge, so I guess they might have thought we all have more money than we do...

Beautiful bike, but as you mention, a little unrealistic for most.

Interesting technique though. Probably only have to sell one of those bikes rather than several in the C2W scheme....

Counting down the days now, till my ESX arrives. Its my 2nd build from Bespoke, and I cannot fault the service.

Whilst Lightweight are very nice looking and err light, they're still based on quite an old V shaped rim and are far outdone in the wind tunnel by more modern designs from the likes of Zipp and Reynolds.

That said, they'd probably still feature on my ultimate build!
