Headset bearings

Time to replace the head bearings on my 2011 Boardman road bike. Tightened them as far as I dare but still has play.

Thought this would be a simple task but looking around there's different sizes, tapered and non-tapered and press fit or drop in.

What do I need?

I've read somewhere that they might be tapered. Someone suggested FSA Orbit C40 ACB, typically they're 3 x the price.

Yes you are right its a tapered headtube, the FSA seems to be the cheapest of the bunch...

As it is usually only the bottom bearing that has gone, why not just replace that rather than the entire headset? Get one of eBay for a fiver.

I might, open to suggestions. Not a job I've ever had to do before. Part of me thinks replace the whole thing it has lasted 4 years and circa 10000 miles (Fair weather occasional biker)
