Adding a roadbike to the fleet - what else do i need?

So i have finally decided this year is the year and have placed an order for a wilier!
Im a keen mtb er so have all the main kit, but think im going to look a fool riding baggies on a road bike and carrying a huge camelpak!
I will be getting a new lid as part of the deal and will get some proper road shoes rather than using the spd's.
Will wear my current lycras for now but maybe get some tighter shorts and jacket!
The bike has twin bottle cages so qas thinking of getting water in one and toolkit in the other and maybe a saddle bag for other stuff.
But what other stuff? Pump (frame mount?), spare tube, small multitool, phone, co2 cans and some cash and maybe energy snacks for longer rides.
Anything else to consider?
Will be looking at 50-60milers fron the off with 100miles by summer.

What model have you gone for?
Personally I ride anything from 10 local miles to a 100+ with a small Lezyne pump in my middle pocket and a small Lezyne saddlebag which I can squeeze two tubes into. No need to go overboard IMO with carrying a small bike shop with you.

I'm in the lakes so plenty of terrible roads, hawthorns and you can easily be isolated - that's why I generally carry a decent ish tool kit with me!
I'm going ffor the gtr in the White/red - shimano 105 spec. They have a demo in a medium but it was out - just going to make sure I'm the right size before finally ordering.
Actually looking forward to doing more on road miles - worried I'm going to get a bit addicted, major aim is to do the Fred whit ton in 2016

In the winter I'll use one bottle cage to carry my tools in an old bottle with the top chopped off (I only carry two tubes, two tyre levers and 4/5mm allen keys. I never bother with a multi-tool). Mini pump goes in jersey pocket. In the summer I use both bottles so my kit all goes into rear jersey pockets and I only carry 1 tube. I don't like taking a load of kit with me and one day I'm sure I'll curse not leaving the house with a chain splitter or some other rarely-needed tool, but I'm prepared to take the risk.
As above, I'd just swap the tubes and you're fine. You'll probably find that you need both bottles for over 30 miles in summer, so instead of putting your stuff in an empty bottle I'd recommend one of the saddlebags that most bike shops sell. I survive on just two CO2 canisters, but you may wish to get a small pump too. I also take surgical/rubber gloves with me so I can do a tube or fiddle with the chain without getting oil all over the handlebars afterwards, two allen keys which covers all the adjustments on my bike (probably not necessary, but they take up such little room), and £20 and my debit card just in case I need to get a taxi home if a problem isn't fixable at the roadside (e.g. a crash finishing in a bent wheel or frame). I also take a tiny packable waterproof if it's a long ride and it looks like it might rain - I find I get to hot wearing it, but a couple of years ago I was caught out 20 miles from home and got drenched, which then made me so cold that I couldn't ride my bike anymore due to numb hands and uncontrollable shaking, so I've carried the waterproof since then!!RobM77 said:
