Garmin Forerunner 410

Ive just picked up one of these with a whole world of extras from Ebay for 48 pounds. This seems a great deal considering this is apparently their flagship watch?

Is it really that good compared to the liwer models?

620 is the top running watch now i think, 920xt for multisport and edge 1000 for cycling......

They are all very good - although i'm reasonably sure the 410 has a bezel control interface that had mixed reviews.

Looking on ebay i think you paid about the right money.

I've had a 410 since 2011 (it had just been replaced as their flagship back then I think) and it does the job. The bezel is awful at first and rendered the watch near unusable for me but it does click eventually. I'm actually on my 2nd 410 as the first was replaced FOC by Garmin after it had a fit and died.

I've mostly used it for running having not owned a bike until this summer but discovered you could change the sport mode between cycling and running with slightly different pre-sets (such as auto pause, which I use on the bike but not running). If you forget to change the mode you can correct it in Garmin Connect afterward.
