Securing bikes to garage wall, best way?

As above really, I want to stick a couple of bikes up on the garage wall I was wondering if anyone had any unusual solutions?

Set a rail of some sort ~6" from the wall at about shoulder height. Wheels drop into rail at an angle, then use a hook/cup on a strap to the roof to hold the bars/frame up.

Did this for my mountain bike as despite numerous bleeds the brakes didn't like being upside down for prolonged periods of time.

Use your own screws though, supplied ones are rubbish. I staggered mine high and low and fit 6 bikes in a very small space.

Aldi bike special next week has a bike storage thingy. Two bikes, one above the other on adjustable hooks.
