What would you restore?

So with a broken arm and being signed off work I have a bit of time on my hands. I've been thinking about restoring a bike for a while, I don't really need another one but hey why not.
I've got an old carrera fury in the shed that needs forks and wheels but could be converted into a decent pub bike fairly cheaply (maybe an on one reetard wheelset and a set of carbon forks)
Another idea is that as a kid I had a tank of a peugeot road bike - one of the carbolite jobs, and whilst its nothing compared to todays bikes I wouldn't mind revisiting this with a reynolds version.
And yet another idea is a neighbour has an upgraded mid 90s marin pine mountain decaying in a shed that I'm sure he'd part with..

I had an old Peugeot Carbolite road bike back in my yoof and don't remember it being *that* heavy. Seemed amazingly fast at the time! I don't imagine it would feel great now, but it would be quite nice to have another one.
I keep meaning to restore my old Mag Burner which is in the shed - I've had that for 30 years now :-)

A Raleigh Record Sprint. The 80's one, in black and gold, with the flattened 'aerospace tubing' and the 'space shuttle' logo launching up the seat tube.
I rode past one outside a house in Farnborough a couple of years ago, with a sign offering it 'free to a good home'. By the time I got home, and went straight back in the car, someone else had nabbed it
Ideally I'd like two - one to keep as original as possible, and another to bring up to date with a modern groupset, finishing kit, and a set of quality hand built wheels.
